• You are responsible for the architecture, development, and operation of a microservice-based, scalable cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure
• You ensure that security, performance, availability, monitoring, and scalability of the platform are met
• You take responsibility for the operational management in accordance with the principle "You build it, you run it" including suitable tools, processes, and incident response structures
• You develop the digital architecture for IoT data from the environment of renewable energies further - from data ingestion to the provision for APIs, monitoring, and big data applications
• You integrate IoT devices, gateways, and cloud services for real-time data, remote access, and system control
• You utilize and develop platform services such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus further
• You are responsible for the cloud security architecture, including the establishment and implementation of an ISMS according to ISO 27001 as well as the anchoring of security-by-design principles
• You lead and develop the digital team further and work closely with the product owners in product management

• You bring several years of experience in the development, architecture, and operation of modern cloud platforms and distributed systems and software architectures and have already successfully set up and further developed scalable solutions
• You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially in the environment of IoT platforms, microservices, API architectures, and data-driven systems
• You have very good programming skills  as well as good knowledge in Python and experience with event-driven architectures and end-to-end data flows
• You understand the requirements for security, scalability, and high availability and ideally have practical experience in the field of cloud security as well as in the implementation of ISO 27001 / ISMS in Azure environments
• You have experience in the professional and technical leadership of teams, work in a structured and self-reliant manner and combine strategic thinking with a pronounced hands-on mentality
• You speak fluent German and have good English skills
