Sr. Java Developer​/W2​/Remote Option

Responsibilities

• Implement designs following Pearson coding standards and industry best practices; maintain and support mission‑critical applications.
• Ensure business and requirements artifacts accurately model the customer's requirements; use tooling and best practices to create design models.
• Participate in and lead requirements, design, and code reviews.
• Work closely with QA, configuration management, and end users to release high‑quality software.
• Create testable requirements and write and execute unit tests.
• Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to enhance process and product quality.
• Complete project documentation, including status, risk, progress, and effort logs.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 7+ years relevant software development experience creating business applications with relational database systems.
• 5+ years Java development required.

Additional experience and skills that are considered a plus.
