Full-Stack Software Engineer

The client is looking to add on to their software development team. They are undergoing a major cloud migration effort moving software to an AWS Cloud platform while modernizing many of their web applications. You will be working with cross-functional application teams. They are looking for someone that has true full stack experience. Strong front end development with Angular and good backend development with NodeJS.

You will be helping where there is a new need depending on which PM/Scrum master needs assistance. This position will involve some testing and debugging through these migration efforts but most of the focus will be on developing new applications for legacy projects on a cloud platform. This team helps with technical guidance and solutions on the products they support and they are highly innovative and collaborative.

Responsibilities:

• Work on full-stack development projects
• Develop code on the front-end for web applications using AngularJS
• Develop code on the back-end for APIs and integration using NodeJS
• Assist with project modernization efforts across various teams
• Assist with cloud integration efforts using Docker and AWS
• Conduct periodic code reviews with the team and lead developers to ensure code quality
• Work with a collaborative team of developers, testers, and engineers
• Work in a highly-innovative environment
• Participate in team meetings, give project updates, and communicate delays/issues in a timely manner
• Work with a wide-array of technologies:
  Angular, NodeJS, Docker, AWS, SQL, and others

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
• Experience with AngularJS for front-end development
• Experience with NodeJS for APIs and back-end development
• Ability to work: 8-5 EST
