Full-Stack Software Developer

BHSH System is seeking a highly motivated full-stack software developer to join the team at Priority Health. As a member of a cross-functional team, you would work with various areas of the business to help produce web and mobile applications for both internal and external use. These apps are used by Priority Health’s nearly 1.3 million members and are critical to their digital experience.

Prospective candidates should have a problem-solving, innovative mindset, while keeping members’ best interests in mind. Developers at BHSH System work with a variety of technologies and frameworks;
Angular,.NET, and Spring Boot are among the most popular. Native mobile technologies, such as Kotlin and Swift, are also used to create Android and iOS apps, respectively. An ideal candidate would possess technical depth in at least one of these areas. You would be responsible for mentoring your fellow developers and helping them grow in their technical competency. It is an exciting time to be a developer for BHSH System, as we are in the process of migrating on-prem services to AWS.

Part of your responsibilities will be to help our teams migrate off legacy, on-prem solutions to AWS. This contract role qualifies for up to 100% remote work. Should you convert to a full-time employee, you must reside in a state approved by BHSH System’s HR department as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Web-based technologies:
  Angular,.NET (C#), Spring Boot (Java)
• AWS experience (EKS, Lambda, Kendra, etc)
• Native or hybrid mobile app development experience (Kotlin/Swift, Xamarin, etc)
• Experience working in an Agile-based work environment (SAFe, Scrum, XP, etc)
• Automation testing (Web, Mobile, or API)
