Job Title
Dynamic Work Schedule
This is 5 days on site a month in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. (They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Client determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.
Locations: NC or Westlake, TX
Must Have:
- Rest API preferably Java (we use version 11, but 8 is ok as well)
- Being able to work on a cloud environment with containerized application
- Experience designing microservice
- Familiar with UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
You will be responsible for designing and developing highly performant API and building the web user experience to support our customers online search needs. You will own entire features from concept to deployment working as part of our multi-functional teams. You'll have the opportunity to provide ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn.
TheExpertise and Skills You Bring
- Proven experience with REST API Design & Development using Java (version 11) or NodeJS
- Good experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-ready containerized applications
- Experience designing Microservices, Event-driven/reactive systems or other Cloud Native architectures
- Familiar with any major JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React etc.)
- Experience working with AWS highly preferred
- Experience in building highly scalable and resilient applications
- Familiar with Dev Ops, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery
- Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to explore new technology stacks
- A passion for technology and ability to navigate your way across complex and rapidly-changing landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
