Dynamic Work Schedule
- This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. (They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.

Must Have:
- Microservices development, full understanding of SDLC
- Java (v. 7-8 preferred) Java script, Typescript, NodeJS, primarily using this for backend/API development
- AWS preferred
- Azure experience as an alternative
As part of the Advanced Process Solutions division within Fidelity Investments, you will join a Scrum team of 6-8 highly hardworking individuals tasked with re-imagining the customer experience and associate workflow for Fidelity. The team will be focused on developing a new microservices based platform to support life events and beneficiary qualification process. The product would be developed primarily using Node JS, JavaScript/Type Script, Python and AWS services.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years Java development experience
- Proven ability with JavaScript/Type Script and NodeJS
- 1+ years of experience with AWS and other cloud-based development methodologies / best-practices
- Solid grasp of REST concepts and developing REST APIs with Spring Boot or NodeJS
- Experience with serverless computing and EKS based applications is a plus
- Hands on experience with:
Git, Docker, Python, Shell Scripts a plus - Understanding of Cloud databases including – DynamoDB and RDS

- Responsible for QA readiness of software (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
- Chipping in to the team in technical guidance and mentoring new/junior team members as needed.
