We're dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our customers and know that our employees are key to making that happen. We offer attractive compensation packages and plenty of chances to grow with us, and we're always on the lookout for ways to do things better.

Our team works together towards common goals and we value each member's contributions to our mission of continuous improvement and innovation.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Unity Engineer to support one of the top young children's entertainment companies on their partnership versions of mobile games. Think special editions of the titles for platforms like Netflix, Apple Arcade, and Kindle. You will be the owner of the partnership game variants, responsible for stability, platform compliance, SDK integrations, pipelines, and release management. This role does not include the development of gameplay or metagame.

Please note, this is a full-time remote contract of 40 hours/week, with core hours 9 am to 6 pm US Eastern Time (EST). The engagement runs through the end of 2026.

The Quest
  • Develop and maintain partnership versions of existing games (e.g., Netflix variant), ensuring platform policies and technical requirements are met.
  • Own all partnership games as the single developer responsible for it all.
  • Integrate new features coming from the internal platform into the partnership games.
  • Migrate games across build/release pipelines.
  • Update SDKs and dependencies to maintain compliance with relevant app store/platform requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with QA to identify, triage, and fix bugs, ensuring smooth releases.
  • Manage releases of updates to app stores.
  • Occasionally port a game to a new platform (e.g., from standalone to Netflix).
  • Occasionally contribute to miscellaneous tasks handled by the tech team.
The Skills
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proactive, punctual, and over communicative.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in C# and object-oriented programming.
  • Track record of using Unity to build cross-platform mobile apps.
  • Solid experience in integrating SDKs and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, investigate and resolve complex issues, and ship reliably.
Nice to Have
  • Experience bringing apps to Netflix, Apple Arcade, Kindle, or similar distribution platforms.
  • Experience releasing apps on app stores, including handling submissions and compliance updates.
  • Prior work in building and maintaining shared software platforms or SDKs used across multiple products.
  • Familiarity with build and release pipelines.
The Reward
  • A fun and dynamic industry where you can make a difference.
  • Professional and friendly work environment.
  • Awesome and talented colleagues.
  • Support from all your teammates.
