Founding AI Engineer Opportunity

We are an innovative company in the insurance technology sector, located in Paris, with an ambitious small team. Our mission is to transform the insurance world through our AI agents, allowing brokers to save time and improve operational efficiency. As we enter a key phase of development and industrialization of our artificial intelligence platform, we are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to enrich our R&D department and turn our vision into concrete solutions.

This position is a unique opportunity to be one of the first recruits of our growing start-up, where AI is at the heart of our product.

• Design and deploy AI-based functionalities for process automation (agent management, copilots).
• Build AI orchestration systems, including large language models (LLM), AI-assisted query generation (RAG), and productivity tools usage.
• Convert product needs into robust AI systems ready for production.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and transform unstructured data.
• Improve the latency, cost, and reliability of AI systems.
• Contribute to key technical decisions on architecture and tools.

• Python for AI and data
• Backend skills in Type Script
• Experience with LLMs and agent systems
• Familiarity with RAG and AI evaluation tools

• Infra: AWS (serverless & managed services)
• Database:
  Postgres, vector search, document pipelines
• Integrations:
  Microsoft 365, CRM systems, insurance systems

• Engineering or university degree in R&D
• 3 to 6+ years of experience in startup or product-driven environments
• Strong ability to handle complex and real-world data
• Interest in AI systems, particularly LLM
• Autonomy and adaptability with an entrepreneurial spirit

• Competitive salary of 80-90k depending on experience
