Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III – Supply Chain to develop and support enterprise software written in-house to support mission critical business functions such as supplier rebates, distribution center and warehouse operations, inventory control, and field-facing branch operations functionality. Duties will include problem resolution analysis and corrections, developing new software based on approved design documents, and correcting system problems while working as part of an Agile development team.

• Develop and support enterprise software to support supply chain operations.
• Perform problem resolution analysis and correct system issues.
• Develop new software based on approved design documents.
• Work as part of an Agile development team, including product ownership, planning, and delivery.
• Communicate with users by discussing and demonstrating working software effectively.

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Engineering, or a related technology-driven field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering solutions with Scrum/Agile development methodology in supply chain technology.
• Experience in product ownership, planning, and delivery in an agile environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with users and demonstrating software.

Salary range: $135,595 per year to $150,000 per year.

The role is offered with a Hybrid Telecommuting Plan: the position requires work onsite at the Birmingham, AL HQ office as needed by the manager, with remote work otherwise permitted.
