As a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager in our Product Development team, your purpose will be to design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑quality systems that empower beauty professionals worldwide. You’ll work on new features, optimise system performance, and shape the architecture to support our growing platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to craft solutions that solve real‑world problems for millions of users while driving innovation and continuous improvement in our codebase.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Proficiency in Python

• Strong database management experience with PostgreSQL
  .
• Expertise in writing comprehensive test suites and using automated testing frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable architectures (microservices, event‑driven systems).
• Familiarity with Docker and building CI/CD pipelines

• At a minimum, we require conversational‑level English language skills. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business‑wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy.

It will also help you to have:

• Experience with observability practices (logging, monitoring, and alerting).
