Sr Software Engineer – Woburn, MA
Management Level G Notified, a leading global technology and services partner to corporate professionals, is expanding its Technology team and adding a Sr Software Engineer in Woburn, MA.
Location:
130 New Boston Street, Woburn, MA. Working arrangement:
Office-based Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with flexible work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
- Design and develop state‑of‑the‑art, modern, high‑performing, scalable web applications.
- Review feature documentation and assist the team in breaking down all features into stories for the backlog.
- Analyze business problems, design solutions, and develop modern web applications, web APIs, and database schemas, following best coding practices such as code review and unit tests.
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms.
- Create and maintain technical specifications.
- Participate in the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of new cloud‑based and cloud‑hosted services.
- Build and improve continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD).
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our Agile and Dev Ops culture and engineering best practices.
- Monitor system performance and design highly scalable and operable systems.
- Develop solutions for complex problems independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years overall experience as a full‑stack engineer.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance backend systems using Microsoft .NET and C#.
- Frontend framework experience such as Angular required.
- Develop robust APIs and microservices that integrate with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cloud‑native solutions using AWS services.
- Good understanding of front‑end technologies such as JavaScript and Type Script.
- Experience with Microsoft Git Hub Copilot preferred.
- Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team.
- Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written) required.
- Practical experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Responsible, independent, and solution‑oriented working style.
- Experience developing enterprise‑scale, multi‑user applications.
- Solid understanding of designing and optimizing Web APIs for large‑scale usage.
- Experience in .NET web‑based applications and backend services development.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
The starting salary for this role is expected to fall within the range of $115,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
