GSC: Tech Lead; LP

What you’ll do

• Develop new code and fix existing bugs/defects while following agreed standards and best practices.
• Participate in requirements gathering and delivery planning to meet business partners’ quality and on‑time delivery expectations.
• Consult closely with stakeholders to understand objectives, create user stories in collaboration with product owners, business analysts and lead technical solutions.
• Identify transformation opportunities and automate processes.
• Map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines, and coordinate with the testing team to ensure appropriate test cases are executed.
• Review solutions, identify potential issues and recommend strategies for problem resolution.
• Provide support to the technical lead responsible for project delivery.
• Conduct research on technology and business processes to ensure best‑practice knowledge for stakeholders.

• 7+ years of Java engineering experience as an individual contributor with mentoring capability.
• Proven track record of driving platform improvements, including performance optimisation and production stability.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment with excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
• Hands‑on experience in Agile projects.
• Experience with Vertex, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Elasticsearch and ELK.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana and Prometheus.
• Exposure to message‑driven architectures using JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis or Solace.
• Hands‑on experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD and cybersecurity tools (e.g., Team City, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, NexusIQ, Checkmarx) and with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or No
  
  SQL DBs (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with unit, regression, end‑to‑end testing and proficiency with Git.
• In‑depth knowledge of Trade Lifecycle & Straight‑Through Processing (STP).

• Exposure to Fixed Income Cash and Derivative products.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting guidelines by various authorities.
• Understanding of third‑party tools such as ION for pricing and market data.
• High‑frequency and low‑latency coding experience.
• Experience with Rust, Go or Python.

The pay range for this role is 28,000 PLN - 32,000 PLN (monthly, gross). Additional car allowance: 4,786 PLN (monthly, gross). Variable pay is discretionary, influenced by group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
