Sr. Full Stack Engineer

SEI, a company focused on developing innovative learning platforms like Workforce Edge and Sophia Learning, is searching for a highly skilled Software Developer/Engineer to join their Research and Development team. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement advanced features and products, with a focus on machine learning and generative AI.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for SEI’s learning platforms.
• Collaborating with various teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implementing machine learning models and generative AI solutions to enhance learning.
• Developing and optimizing backend services using NodeJS, Python, and related technologies.
• Building and maintaining responsive frontend applications using React.
• Working with graph databases (Neo4J) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and ensuring high code quality and performance.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Participating in agile development processes and contributing to continuous improvement.

• 6+ years of experience in web application design, development, and implementation.
• 4+ years of experience with React JS, Node.js, and Type Script.
• 3+ years of experience working on cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with RESTful web services, Git, Jira, and SaaS-based platforms (Cypress knowledge a plus).
• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Cloud certifications in AWS/GCP (architecture/developer/ML a plus).
• The ability to travel occasionally (0-10% of the time).
