Technical Architect - SIMCA Online

Job Summary

The individual will serve as the Technical Architect responsible for planning, designing, coding, and developing solutions using the SIMCA Online application. A key skill is the ability to understand user requirements and processes. This role involves overall implementation of SIMCA Online and distributing work among team members.

Camstar (Siemens Opcenter)

• Experience in pharma and life sciences full-stack architecture and data management (preferred).
• Expertise in computer science disciplines related to the pharmaceutical/biological life science industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, Graph, GO, JavaScript, and No
  
  SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with SIMCA and SIMCA Online, as well as OSIsoft PI, PI AF, Visual Studio, and MS DB Management Studio.
• Experience in SIMCA deployment and building various process models through multiple process datasets.
• Knowledge of mathematics and computer science theory and application of statistical methodologies relative to process performance analytics and data sciences is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a fast‑learning curve.
• Commitment and drive to set and achieve team goals.
• Good leadership abilities with experience coordinating and directing project‑based efforts while supervising, motivating, and leading project teams.
• Excellent facilitation of effective communication and strong teamwork skills.

• In‑depth knowledge and experience with SIMCA and SIMCA Online.
• Proven ability to build and deploy process models using SIMCA Online and analyze process data.

• Ability to integrate and manage complex process data and ensure smooth system integration across platforms.
• Strong background in statistical methodologies, data sciences, and mathematics related to process performance analytics.
• Capability to apply data‑driven solutions and mathematical models for process optimization and analytics.
• Experience with full‑stack architecture in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
• Understanding of system design, data flow, and architecture tailored to the industry's unique needs.
• Expertise in Visual Studio and MS DB Management Studio for development, debugging, and data management.
• Familiarity with industrial data and process analysis tools such as OSIsoft PI and PI AF.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate a development team.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and distribute tasks within the team.
• Familiarity with Camstar (Siemens Opcenter) for manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Ability to understand complex user requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address technical challenges in the implementation process.
