We’re looking for a passionate Backend Software Engineer to join our remote team.

• We’re a Y Combinator-backed non-profit with a mission to empower coffee farmers.
• Our diverse team of 100+ people works remotely from over 2 dozen countries.
• We use technology to collect and analyze data on coffee farming conditions.
• Our insights help roasters and others support sustainable coffee growing practices.

• You’ll collaborate on major features for our core platforms (Jebena & Sini).
• Develop new features, maintain existing code, and manage AWS services.
• You’ll need strong Python, PostgreSQL, and Linux skills.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, Cloud Front) and Docker containers is a plus.
