Senior Database Engineer

• Design and implement core database engine features
• Build and maintain distributed consensus protocols
• Collaborate with product team on feature development
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Contribute to open-source database projects

• 5+ years of experience in database systems or distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in C++, Rust, or Go
• Deep understanding of database internals (storage engines, query optimization)
• Experience with distributed systems and consensus algorithms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with multi-model databases
• Contributions to open-source database projects
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
