A nationally recognized leader in healthcare data interoperability is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help modernize how clinical and claims data move across the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. This team builds the infrastructure that thousands of providers, labs, health systems, and payers rely on every day.

This role is not a fit for generalist developers, light SaaS coders, or those without experience in large-scale distributed systems. This is an environment where engineering decisions directly affect patient care, system reliability, and nationwide data exchange.

• Architecting and scaling national-level healthcare data exchange systems handling massive transaction volumes
• Designing API-driven, highly reliable distributed services
• Advancing cloud-native, containerized deployments across Kubernetes
• Improving observability, throughput, and parallel processing across mission-critical pipelines
• Providing senior-level technical leadership across backend systems, architecture reviews, and delivery processes

• 10+ years engineering experience (mandatory)

• Deep experience with high-volume distributed systems, event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing
• Strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server optimization, and production-grade API design
• Hands‑on experience with containerization, cloud‑native patterns, and Kubernetes
• A track record of owning architecture across multiple systems—not just participating
• Comfort mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction
• Experience with healthcare data standards (IHE, FHIR) is a strong plus, but not required
