Your role and responsibilities

The Opportunity

IBM Consulting Future Now UK is looking for curious, driven graduates to join as Associate Engineers. You will join collaborative delivery teams building the digital services that millions of citizens rely on every day - across central government - the kind of work where what you ship genuinely matters.

From day one you will build with modern, AI-assisted engineering tools as a normal part of how we work - learning to design, code and ship alongside the latest agentic AI and developer tooling, not years down the line.

By joining IBM Consulting Future Now as an associate you will join it as part of a cohort - growing alongside peers who start their journey at the same time. Each Associate Engineer is paired with an experienced mentor and follows a structured development framework that builds toward Engineer, Senior Engineer and Technical Lead roles as your skills and specialism develop.

Hybrid by default. Hybrid working is how we work day to day - you will balance time working from home with collaborating in person at one of the offices below, giving you flexibility while staying close to your team and mentor.
