Description
Please note:
This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. The team is seeking an Integration Engineer to support a large-scale federal Salesforce Center of Innovation environment. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting secure integrations across a complex Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce org-to-org, Salesforce org-to-Git repository, Salesforce app-to-app, third-party, service account, API, and middleware-enabled integrations.
The environment includes 50+ Salesforce applications across multiple organizations and supports numerous application teams across Integration, Stage, and Production environments. The role will support a high-volume Salesforce release and operations environment, including API connection management, production change support, incident response, sandbox coordination, and integration modernization efforts.

Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

* Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce Org-to-Git Code Repo, Salesforce Org-to-Org, Salesforce App-to-App, third-party integrations, service accounts, and connected applications.
* Manage and support 150+ Salesforce API connections using Salesforce Admin Console, Connected Apps, service accounts, certificates, and approved customer processes.
* Collaborate with Salesforce Technical Architects, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Release Engineers, Security Engineers, Business Analysts, application teams, and customer technical leads to define integration patterns, data flows, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
* Support application onboarding and offboarding by validating integration readiness, API dependencies, authentication patterns, service account needs, sandbox readiness, and release impacts.
* Support release management activities for major releases, minor releases, and hotfixes across Integration, Stage, and Production environments.
* Participate in Technical Design Document reviews, with emphasis on integration architecture, API design, error handling, monitoring, authentication, data movement, rollback planning, and operational supportability.
* Troubleshoot integration issues in coordination with application teams, O&M teams, Salesforce Support, security teams, and release management personnel.
* Create and maintain integration documentation, API inventories, service account inventories, data flow diagrams, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and Confluence knowledge articles.
* Evaluate integration-related opportunities for modernization, automation, monitoring, and resilience across the Salesforce platform.
* Support off-hours releases, outages, hotfixes, or urgent production events as needed, including mission-critical portal and login support.
Required Skills:
* U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
* Candidate must have a current Public Trust clearance/suitability determination or an active DoD Secret clearance.
* Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
* Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years.
* 4+ years of hands-on systems integration experience supporting enterprise applications.
* 2+ years of experience supporting Salesforce integrations, Salesforce APIs, Connected Apps, service accounts, authentication, or Salesforce platform administration/development. Desired
Skills:
* 2+ years' experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, SAML, certificates, API security, integration monitoring, and error handling.
* 2+ year experience supporting production systems, incident response, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting in a mission or enterprise environment.
* Experience supporting large Salesforce programs in federal, public sector, or regulated environments.
* Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, or large multi-org Salesforce ecosystems.
* Mule Soft Anypoint Platform experience, including Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, and Data Weave.
* Mule Soft Developer certification or Salesforce integration-focused certifications.
* Experience with Salesforce CLI, VS Code Salesforce Extensions, Salesforce Developer Console, Git Lab, Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, scratch orgs, and Dev Sec Ops pipeline toolsets.
