motion industries, inc. Is seeking a software engineer iii – supply chain in birmingham, al to develop and support enterprise software written in-house to support mission critical business functions such as supplier rebates, distribution center and warehouse operations, inventory control, and field-facing branch operations functionality. Duties will include problem resolution analysis and corrections, developing new software based on approved design documents, and correcting system problems, while working as a part of an agile development team.

• bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in computer science, information technology/systems, engineering, or a related technology-driven field.
• 5 years of experience designing and delivering solutions with scrum/agile development methodology & supply chain technology, including experience in product ownership, planning, and delivery in an agile environment.
• experience communicating to users by discussing and demonstrating working software in an effective manner.

this role is being offered with a hybrid telecommuting plan, with the position requiring work onsite at our birmingham, al hq office as required by manager, and remote work otherwise permitted. Salary range: $135,595 per year to $150,000 per year.
