Mid-Level Systems Engineer

Glia Cell is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract.

• The Data Modeling team is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats.
• This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

• Seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university (or four additional years of SWE experience on similar projects may be substituted).
• Works well independently as well as on a team.

• Experience with database design and modeling.
• Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres).
• Experience reverse engineering systems in both front‑end and back‑end capacities.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security.

• Knowledge of existing BM&A systems.

The salary range for this full‑time position is $115,000 to $190,000.
