The Department of Social and Health Services seeks a Senior Service Now Developer to design, develop, and maintain digital workflows on the Service Now platform that improve agency efficiency and modernize IT processes. This role requires expertise in Service Now development, integration, and full application lifecycle management while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, automated solutions. The position is based in Olympia with flexible hybrid remote work available anywhere in Washington State.
Keyqualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 9 semester hours of computer science AND 7 years IT experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 1-3 years hands-on Service Now development experience with JavaScript, HTML, Glide scripts, CSS, or related PaaS technologies
- Experience with API integrations using SOAP/REST and Service Now Integration Hub Spokes
- Ability to design, configure, and maintain integrations between Service Now and external systems
- Proficiency in customizing user interfaces, portals, and service catalogs using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS
- Service Now certification (CAD, CSA, or CIS) or ITIL Foundations preferred
