• Perform hands‑on software development and testing.
• Act as a core member of an agile team, performing user story analysis, story elaboration, design, and development of software applications.
• Write code, define API specifications, participate in code reviews, and conduct tests as part of ongoing sprints.
• Perform continuous refactoring of code and drive improvements in code structure and best practices.
• Use visualization techniques and other tools to accelerate problem‑solving.
• Identify opportunities to adopt new technology and contribute to continuous development.
• Engage in daily work that is primarily code‑centric (90+% of time).

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in an accounts‑receivable platform or financial billing platform.
• Ability to interpret technical and business requirements and articulate solutions.
• Capacity to think abstractly and manage ambiguous or poorly specified problems.
• Ability to enable enterprise functionality through innovative solutions.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and drive rapid software improvement.
• Experience with Mainframe technologies such as JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, IMS DC/DB; knowledge of Mainframe development is a plus.
• Experience with Mainframe tools such as Report/Resource, Strobe, Expediter, JHS, Manage/M.
• Experience with Mainframe CI/CD tools like Rational Suite or ISPW.

• Experience with MQ, SYNC/SORT, REXX, CLIST, Java, or Easytrieve.
• Experience with multi‑tiered systems, algorithms, message queuing, and relational/XML databases.
• Experience with web services and Open API development, REST APIs, and SOA concepts.
• Enjoyment of agile or other rapid‑delivery development processes.
• Strong communication skills for speaking with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in the accounts‑receivable industry.
