About the job HS-19 Cloud Automation Engineer Job Summary
We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team at Oceans Code Experts. This position involves working with cloud-native automation, distributed compute, batch processing, and backend process orchestration using Python and Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will design, build, and support automation solutions across distributed systems, integrating with multiple platforms to handle scheduled, event-driven, or queue-based workloads.
Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based automation solutions using Python for automation, scripting, integrations, and backend services.
- Build and support automation workflows using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
- Create and manage distributed compute, batch processing, scheduled jobs, queue-based processing, and event-driven workflows.
- Implement REST APIs, web services, data exchange, and system integrations.
- Ensure operational reliability through error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring.
- Work with SQL or other databases for querying, validation, and data processing.
- Utilize Git, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and modern development practices.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments for efficient project delivery.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, cloud automation, backend engineering, Dev Ops, or process automation.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python for automation and backend services.
- Solid experience building cloud-based automation solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, data exchange, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with SQL or other databases for data processing.
- Understanding of error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring for operational reliability.
- Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated environments.
- Experience with secure automation patterns, access controls, audit logging, and compliance-driven environments.
- Experience supporting production automation workflows, incident handling, and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Full‑time consulting position.
- Up to 40 hours per week with flexible core hours.
- Fully remote work.
