Sr. Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to a variety of areas including the development of our overall data platform, supporting internal and external customers with data‑related technical work (planning, documentation, coding), and interacting directly with customers.

• Develop and maintain the overall data platform.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers, including planning, documentation, and coding.
• Interact directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (relevant experience considered).
• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and the Snowflake Data Cloud Platform, including complex queries and performance optimization.
• Experience with data loading, transformation, extraction, sharing and replication security features, including access control, data masking, and encryption.
• Data modeling across disparate data sources with a variety of formats and structures.
• Warehouse‑level ontology development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.) for data processing and ETL scripting.
• Strong technical acumen, smart, articulate, and able to work independently with high‑level instructions.
• Strong personal work ethic and desire to collaborate with a distributed team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance.
• Capability to support and teach others in areas of mastery.
• Preferred: experience with formal SDLC procedures, version control (Git Hub), and related methodologies.

• Compensation range: $137,100–$254,700 USD (US locations); additional annual bonus potential.
