DSO Engineer – Engineering Digital Solutions (EDS) – Collins Aerospace

Location:

Remote, United States (NC as reference). Citizenship: U.S. citizen required. Security Clearance:
None. Salary: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.

• Design, implement and establish software integration processes and Dev Sec Ops  (DSO) best practices.
• Lead software integration activities with stakeholders, troubleshooting complex integration or stability and performance issues.
• Define pipeline use cases and align portfolio services across multiple development teams to maximize adoption.
• Define Dev Sec Ops  reference workflows delivering efficiencies in product development.
• Influence pipeline team decisions to maximize ROI and coordinate technical scope, maturity level, and dependencies.
• Lead internal and external communication related to software integration and releases.
• Apply advanced software testing techniques to ensure quality and reliability.
• Identify and implement metrics to measure progress, compliance, and verification of service offerings.

• University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with advanced degree) in software development and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Extensive experience with software development methodologies, version control, build automation, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud/container technologies (AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and deployment tools (Crossplane, ArgoCD, Git Lab, Git Hub).
• Experience with secrets management (Hashi Corp Vault, AWS Secrets, Azure Key Vault) and test frameworks is a plus.
• Agile Project Management skills preferred.
• USA citizenship required.
