Job Overview
Need for a data engineer/analyst to assist with a significant policy administration system and accounting system conversion. The role requires strong SQL skills for data cleanup, normalization, and migration to a new relational system, with a preference for an on‑site candidate with 8‑10+ years of experience. The project is expected to last 12‑24 months, with a two‑stage interview process and a potential start date in four to six weeks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead data conversion between the new PAS vendor and data, including source‑to‑target mapping.
- Clean up legacy database, normalize data, identify errors and duplicates, and prepare for conversion to a new PAS.
- Identify data cleanup tasks for staff.
- Handle dismantlement and conversion of Access programs and new accounting system.
- Strong SQL expertise (querying, stored procedures, development).
- Excellent data analysis and communication skills.
- 8‑10+ years of experience, senior level, able to work independently.
- Experience in life insurance, Microsoft SQL, VB/ and Microsoft Access is a plus.
Primarily five days a week on-site in Beachwood, OH (8 AM‑4:30 PM, Friday flexible). Occasional remote work after trust is established.
Contract DetailsLong‑term contract (12‑24 months). Pay range: $60.00‑$75.00/hr.
