The Apple services Engineering group is one of the most interesting examples of Apple’s lengthy‑held ardor for combining artwork and era. Those are the ones who strengthen the App store, Apple tv, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books. And they do it on a massive scale, meeting Apple’s expectations with willpower to deliver a huge kind of enjoyment in over 35 languages to more than 150 international locations.
These engineers build dependable, scalable solutions. They broaden the custom software used to manage all the creative services, the gear that carriers use to deliver that media, all the server‑side structures, and the APIs for many Apple offerings. Working within Apple’s integration of hardware, software, and services, engineers here partner to build a unified vision and strategy. That vision continually incorporates a deep commitment to strengthening Apple’s privacy policy, one of our core values.
Though Apple’s services are now a larger part of the business than ever, these teams stay small, nimble, and go‑practical, providing exposure to a wide range of opportunities.
We are seeking an Engineering supervisor to grow and lead a brand new product team. Strong design and collaboration are core values of our team. Your service will provide a foundational layer that integrates across several functions, delivering a seamless, unified experience for our clients. You will ensure that architecture and design work both within your team and across teams, abstracting complex problems into simple API designs, data modeling, and frameworks that enable engineers to build fault‑tolerant, distributed services.
You will design for future data skills while avoiding breaking changes.
Reliability and quality are paramount as your services will support many thousands of critical datasets that need to be processed and delivered on time to power the business and our customers. Your software and services must be first‑class, highly available, and meet stringent service level targets.
