Full Stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full-Stack Software Engineer for one of our clients in Detroit, Michigan.

Rate Range: $52.00/hour to $55.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This role is 4 days in-office and 1 day work-from-home.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun, highly collaborative environment where you will be constantly learning and expanding your knowledge base.

Ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

• 5+ years of experience as a Java software engineer.
• Spring platform, especially Spring Boot and creating microservices from scratch.
• Cloud native development on the Google Cloud Platform and its various tools like Cloud Run, Big Query, etc.
• Developing front-end components with Angular, preferably version 16 and up.
• Traditional and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Continuous Integration tools including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks, especially JUnit.
• Continuous Delivery process refinement and tool sets such as Jenkins.

Highly preferred:

• Experience with Apigee and Post Gres SQL.
• Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) methodology.
• Experience developing and working with AI tools.
