Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights for Skeletal Conditions
The Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights will work to design, execute, and manage Skeletal Conditions Business Unit research and analytics projects and will integrate strategic analysis with actionable insights to inform solutions and set priorities that will drive business decisions for the organization. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of primary and secondary market research and analytics, understanding how to maximize learnings on the customer, competitive landscape and market dynamics to deliver insights that help the organization drive patient impact.
The Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights for Skeletal Conditions will report to the Director of Strategic Insights for Skeletal Conditions. The duo will have a high degree of visibility across commercial leadership, key strategic markets for Skeletal Conditions, and functional leadership outside of commercial. Influence and collaboration across functions and markets are critical to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities include acting as a strategic partner to Skeletal Conditions Business team members, designing and delivering qualitative and quantitative market research projects, supporting preparations for governance committees and ongoing leadership reports, integrating primary and secondary market research along with insights from Competitive Intelligence and pricing and market access teams, proactively assessing commercial, clinical, and scientific competitive dynamics and threats, driving for an efficient and effective workplan, maintaining Skeletal Conditions knowledge management library, supporting the Integrated Insights Teams for VOXZOGO, aiding development of commercial strategies through market research, analytics and other sources of insights, creating influential presentation skills by pairing sound analytics with storytelling, and supporting teams with staying up-to-date on emergent insights and analytics capabilities.
Education:
Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer or Physical Sciences or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
5–10+ years in marketing or strategy roles, ideally within pharma, healthcare, consulting or complex global organizations. Exposure to pharmaceutical product development and/or commercialization. Deep understanding of primary and secondary research methodologies, proven experience in designing and implementing market research (quantitative and qualitative). Experience managing vendors in complex research projects. Experience with Brand Management: asset/content, strategy, and tactics. Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into meaningful insights that support strategic recommendations and help define brand tactics.
Capable of understanding data limitations and describing relevant caveats and how they affect business questions.
Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, translate ambiguous business needs into actionable solutions, strong leadership and decision-making skills, excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
