Software Engineer III
• New York, NY
• Hybrid (multiple positions)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Design and develop complex software applications for an online securities broker.
- Create front-end UI components to support services tied to financial profile and trading permissions.
- Ensure front-end workflows align with trading regulatory requirements.
- Work with historical data and large amounts of relational SQL data.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure consistent communication between UI and back-end systems.
- Utilize version control Git and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality coding standards.
- Hybrid:
Remote work permissible 2 days/week. Must work from NYC office 3 days.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related position developing applications with Java.
- 3 years of professional experience developing with Java, JEE, JDBC, Spring.
- 3 years of experience with each of the following front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, VueJS, ReactJS.
- 3 years of experience with SQL, database design, and PL/SQL.
- 3 years of design experience with REST and SOAP.
- 3 years of experience working with jQuery, JSON, and AJAX fundamentals.
- 3 years of experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
