Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails):
Building and optimizing API interfaces and backend infrastructure for Workato's user interface with an accent on complex Ruby on Rails application development, server-side infrastructure, and system improvements. Focus on writing testable, efficient code, evaluating existing systems, and investigating new technologies for architectural review.

What you will do- Build complex Ruby on Rails applications.
- Develop server-side infrastructure for the Workato user interface.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- 5+ years of strong experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby.
- Experience with Redis/Memcache-based caching and RDBMS engines (Postgres).
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
- Contributions to open source projects.
