AI Product Engineer (Insurtech):
Architecting intelligent infrastructure for an agentic platform that automates complex insurance workflows, from claims triaging to compliance. Focus on rapid prototyping, ensuring reliability, explainability, and scalability in production-grade AI integrations.

Hybrid, Brussels
Qover is a leading insurtech scale-up helping companies orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences.
What you will do- Identify high-impact opportunities where Agentic workflows can solve problems for customers.
- Define how AI can reduce operational bottlenecks by automating delivery processes.
- Design tests to validate model accuracy, cost-efficiency, and latency of AI features.
- Build and deploy production-ready agents that leverage Qover’s platform and data pipelines.
- Maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, ensuring agents have access to platform and insurance knowledge.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the broader engineering team, helping them integrate AI capabilities.
- 3+ years of Software Engineering (Python, Node.js) with a focus on building scalable backend systems.
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs using OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models (Mistral/Llama).
- Deep knowledge of Google’s frameworks.
- Understand Vector Databases (pgvector, Pinecone) and how to build event‑driven AI workflows.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with the principles of Marty Cagan's "Inspired" or Teresa Torres's "Continuous Discovery Habits."
- Experience in a company undergoing a significant strategic shift or pivot.
- Flexible work environment: up to three days remote per week and the ability to work from anywhere one month per year.
- 28 days off (8 extra days on top of the 20 legal days).
