Web Application Developer – Dearborn, MI
We are seeking a Web Application Developer to create and support applications that improve the efficiency of operational processes, request and resource management within a test laboratory or prototype planning engineering environment. The role involves conceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and maintaining web‑based applications while applying strong business process modeling, project management, and programming skills to meet the needs of technicians, engineers, planners, and managers.
Responsibilities- Conceptualize, plan, design, develop, test, launch, and maintain web‑based applications.
- Apply business process modeling, project management, and programming skills to satisfy user requirements.
- Utilize client‑side and server‑side technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, SQL, Cold Fusion, and VBA (Excel Macros).
- Coordinate and complete complex assignments both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, self‑motivation, and versatility in a results‑driven environment.
- Associate’s or B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of coding or scripting experience.
- 2+ years of database planning, creation, and modification with SQL.
- 2+ years of web application coding experience (client‑side: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery; server‑side: Cold Fusion, VBA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications for planning and communication.
- Experience with Visual Basic/VBA or mobile application development a plus.
- B.S. in Software Engineering.
- Technical/engineering training or experience in a test laboratory or prototype engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Angular (Google‑based framework) and cloud‑based servers.
- Experience with AI programs or applications.
- Cold Fusion or similar web‑development stack.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Majority of time sitting (90%), standing (50%), bending (20%), stooping (20%).
- Exposure to high noise levels in designated areas.
- On‑site, non‑remote work during standard business hours with occasional local travel.
