Full Stack Engineer

Position: Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA

Clearance Level: Secret

We are looking for a Full Stack software engineer who can join our team and make an immediate impact through their creativity, enthusiasm and technical abilities. Our Full Stack Developer will have knowledge of machine learning algorithms and Dev Ops tools for its diverse projects in marine transportation, cybersecurity and climate/environmental informatics.

• Maintain and enhance existing full-stack applications (backend, frontend, Dev Ops and data layers) that combine AI, data analytics, and spatiotemporal big data.
• Collaborate with iQuasar software engineers in architecting and deploying new full-stack applications that combine AI and big data analytics.
• Maintain and develop applications using web-frameworks such as Django and React.
• Help develop and enhance Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) pipelines for current and future application development projects.
• Manage existing cloud-based applications and develop new applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and Digital Ocean.
• Maintain and develop complex data-driven APIs using tools such as GraphQL & Swagger.
• Coding of full-stack applications for iQuasar government and industry-based contracts and towards iQuasar commercialization efforts.

• 2+ year of experience in programming in a high-level programming language such as Python.
• 2-4 years of experience in Python-based web-frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with the following front-end tools:
  React, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Django.
• Experience in Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and No
  
  SQL data stores such as Redis, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge or minimal experience in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD.
• Additional knowledge in AI and machine learning/deep learning technologies such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch and Keras will be an added bonus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science or other STEM related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix-like OS.
• Excellent coding skills in Python, Django and familiarity with libraries such as pandas and Num Py.
• Experience in handling git repositories.
