Senior Full Stack Developer

Full-time or contract-to-hire (W2 only)

Hybrid in NYC or Morristown, NJ

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing engineering team focused on building and modernizing enterprise applications. This is an opportunity to work on greenfield initiatives, redesign existing platforms, and deliver scalable solutions that have a direct impact on the business.

This is not a traditional development role where work is handed down through user stories. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and own projects from design through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using Angular and/or React, .NET/C#, Azure, APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive projects from concept through delivery.
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using modern software engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, solution design, code reviews, and application deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong experience with .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Azure and modern cloud-native application development.
• Experience designing and building enterprise applications from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of microservices, system integrations, and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and gather requirements.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred but not required.
