Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities- Writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies
- Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
- Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and Git Ops
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Communication and collaboration:
Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders. - Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.

A Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Certifications count as a year experience.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Degree can be waived for technical experience in domain skillsets outlined the requisition posting. Certifications count as a year experience.

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
