Sr. Platform Engineer - Kubernetes; Remote

We are hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer to help expand the Falcon platform globally. The role requires a highly technical, hands‑on engineer with deep experience in large‑scale open‑source deployments.

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform solutions, leveraging cloud‑native infrastructure architecture.
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large‑scale infrastructure platform systems.
• Evaluate and integrate open‑source technologies into existing system workflows.
• Provide insights and technical direction for the evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to drive collaborative technical decision‑making.

• Eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status).
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience, including managing clusters with thousands of nodes.
• Proficiency with Prometheus, Thanos, Alert manager, and Golang.
• Experience with large‑scale, business‑critical Linux environments.
• Experience operating in AWS, GCP, OCI, and custom data centers.
• Familiarity with on‑call shift management.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making and workflow efficiency.

• Experience writing Kubernetes operators.
• Ability to work effectively with local and remote teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence and independence with the prudence to seek help when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, or Engineering.

Base salary range for U.S. candidates: $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
