Socket.dev is seeking a Python-focused web-scraping engineer to build and deploy crawlers across diverse websites. You will implement Scrapy pipelines, handle IP/geolocation bans, captchas, and bot protection, and write SQL queries with SQL Alchemy for DB operations.
Applicants should have strong Python, Selenium/Beautiful Soup/Requests/Scrapy experience, plus Flask/Django/FastAPI exposure and REST API know-how. Familiarity with AWS on Linux is a plus.
