Aquila Technology is seeking a Software Developer to join its team in support of one of the nation’s premier defense research organizations. The Software Developer will be joining a team that is seeking an engineer to own test tooling development for satellite payload software and hardware. Your responsibilities involve working closely with a small team to define the software architecture and requirements based on high-level system requirements and to design, implement, and test the real-time software that runs in and controls the hardware.

Must Have

• Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years
  - Program/Project Management OR Analysis
• 3 years
  - Analysis and interpretation of results
• 3 years - MATLAB Programming
• 3 years
  - Python
• 3 years - XML and SQL
• 3 years
  - Signal Processing
• 3 years - MATLAB Signal Processing Techniques (Fourier Transformations, filters, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
• Currently holds a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Programming
• C/C++

Requirements for this position are:

• MATLAB
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience in XML
• Experience in SQL
• Experience in engineering principles, including Fourier transforms, time series analysis, etc. for plotting and analysis purposes
• Bachelor's degree

Tuition & Training Reimbursement- 5K annually for pre-approved, Eligible full-time team members who have completed a minimum ofsix (6) months of employment may apply for tuition reimbursement for approved, job-related courses taken through an accredited college or university. Team members must achieve a grade of “B” or better to qualify for reimbursement.

Aquila will reimburse up to $5,000 per fiscal year for tuition expenses only. Expenses related to training programs, certifications, books, materials, meals, transportation, or other non-tuition costs are not eligible under the Tuition Reimbursement Program. All tuition reimbursement requests must be submitted to and approved by the team member’s Manager prior to course registration. Reimbursement will be issued upon successful course completion and submission of final grades and proof of payment.
