  • Work with peers to improve systems, processes, standards, and tools that increase team effectiveness and product quality.
  • Partner with other Gartner IT teams to leverage shared capabilities, including AWS infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
  • Align with the Master Data Management product team to define and execute a cohesive technology roadmap and lead engineering efforts to deliver it.
  • Oversee technical activities across estimation, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Mentor and develop engineers by providing actionable feedback and identifying career growth opportunities.
  • Propose and implement technical solutions to ensure and continuously maintain high‑quality customer master data.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related discipline, with 15+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • 15+ years of software development experience, including hands‑on technical contributions and leadership.
  • Proven people management skills with a strong emphasis on coaching and mentoring.
  • Solid technical experience with React, Java, Spring, Python, AWS services, and modern application architectures (microservices, cloud‑native, RESTful APIs).
  • Demonstrated experience building data products on cloud data platforms, including ETL and data engineering tools.
  • Practical experience applying AI/ML and generative AI techniques to augment data products and workflows.
  • Strong foundation in application architecture, software development lifecycle (CI/CD/Dev Ops), and quality practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and conducting code and design reviews.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence IT and business stakeholders to drive adoption and innovation.
What you will get:
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Limitless growth and learning opportunities.

Leadership courses, development programs, technical courses, certification opportunities and more!
  • A collaborative and positive culture – join a diverse team of professionals that are as smart and driven as you.
  • A chance to make an impact – your work will contribute directly to our strategy.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working from home and the energy of collaborating with peers in our dynamic offices.
  • 20+ PTO days plus holidays and floating holidays in your first year.
  • Extensive medical, dental insurance and vision plan.
  • 401K with corporate match, immediate vesting.
  • Health‑and‑wellness‑related allowance programs.
  • Parental leave.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
