Experity is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for the OnePACS medical imaging platform. OnePACS is a cloud-based PACS platform supporting radiology groups, teleradiology providers, imaging centers, and healthcare organizations that depend on reliable, high-volume diagnostic imaging workflows. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on architecture, technical direction, hands-on engineering, mentorship, and modernization. The ideal candidate brings strong Java engineering experience, practical knowledge of medical imaging workflows, and the ability to lead complex technical work across legacy and modern systems.

This role is not a people management position. Success is measured by technical impact, platform reliability, engineering quality, and the ability to help teams build scalable, maintainable systems
** Responsibilities:
*** Provide technical leadership across the OnePACS platform and related imaging workflows.
* Design, develop, maintain, and modernize Java-based platform services and applications.
* Lead architecture and design discussions for scalability, reliability, security, interoperability, compliance, and maintainability.
* Support modernization of legacy platform components while maintaining production stability.
* Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, Dev Ops, Implementation, and Support to improve platform reliability and operational readiness.
* Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application behavior, DICOM workflows, HL7 interfaces, routing, configuration, and customer-specific scenarios.
