Role: Mid-Level Service Now Developer
Location: Remote, work must be performed with the U.S. Preference for candidates located in the following states: CA, CO, DC, GA, FL, IL, MS, NC, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, and VT.

Compensation: $90K-$115K depending on experience
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

At Via Logic, we believe great technology should make complex work simpler, faster, and more reliable. We’re looking for a Mid-Level Service Now Developer who enjoys building scalable solutions, solving technical challenges, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

In this role, you’ll support the design, development, and implementation of solutions across the Service Now platform, including custom and scoped applications, integrations, workflow automation, Service Catalog capabilities, and locally developed applications.

You’ll work closely with Service Now architects, developers, citizen developers, analysts, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions. You’ll also support CI/CD movements between environments, participate in code reviews and demonstrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and help ensure development follows Service Now and enterprise best practices.

This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to mission-critical systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security while continuing to deepen your Service Now expertise across application development, integrations, automation, and platform delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

• Service Now Development: Design, develop, configure, and deploy custom applications and solutions within the Service Now platform.
• Scoped Applications & Workflow Automation: Create and configure scoped applications, Service Catalog items, Flow Designer workflows, and other platform-based solutions that support client needs.
• Custom Application Development: Support the design and development of locally developed applications (LDAs) using Service Now development best practices.
• Integrations: Lead and support integrations between Service Now and external systems, ensuring reliable data exchange and platform functionality.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Support the movement of Service Now components, collections, and deployable assets through CI/CD pipelines and across development environments.

  Work closely with Service Now architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to map business requirements and services to appropriate Service Now capabilities.
• Code Reviews & Demonstrations: Participate in code reviews, proofs of concept, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Troubleshooting & Configuration: Perform troubleshooting, coding, scripting, and Service Now configuration activities of moderate to high complexity.
• Citizen Developer Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to citizen developers and other team members working within the Service Now ecosystem.
• Platform Administration: Support the administration, deployment, and management of USCIS systems and PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS platforms as required using authorized privileged access.

Your Required

Skills and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions on the Service Now platform.
• Certification: At least one current Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
• Service Now Development: Hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and deploying Service Now applications and platform solutions.
• Integrations: Experience developing and supporting Service Now integrations with external systems.
