Automotive Systems Engineer

Atlantic Talent is proud to be partnered with a pioneering company at the forefront of automotive technology. Our client specialises in developing advanced software solutions that power autonomous driving, connected car technology, and smart mobility solutions.

Role Responsibilities- This is a hybrid role, and will require 2 days on site each week.
- Design and develop advanced automotive systems such as autonomous driving modules, and vehicle networking systems.
- Analyse system requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications, including defining system architecture, and component selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to integrate automotive systems into the overall vehicle design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during development and production stages. This includes root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a systems engineering environment, ideally with a focus on automotive technology.
- Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related IT or Engineering field.
- Proficiency in using automotive software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and dSPACE. Knowledge of programming languages including Python or C++ is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Great problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Prior experience in an automotive environment is desirable but not essential.
