Job Title

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Position is ON SITE - manager NOT interested in remote workers Rate depends on experience with the 3 key skills and how many 'desired' skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in CS, EE or relevant discipline and 5 years experience with:
• Familiar with model-based software design (KEY)
• 5+ years' experience in embedded controls software
• Simulink experience

PREFERRED SKILLS OR "PLUSES" / NICE TO HAVE:

• Safety Critical Systems / Control systems for aircraft
• DO-178 compliant systems especially DO-178C
• Defining or analyzing software architectures
• HW/SW and SW/SW integration
• Component level testing
• Experience with full software development life cycle (Requirements, Design, Verification and Release)
• Python, C, C++, Groovy
• Continuous integration
• Jenkins or other testing frameworks

OTHER:
Any experience with aircraft propulsion is a huge plus

DUTIES:

• Develop safety-critical avionics / aircraft control software to DO-178C standards
• Software architecture support for software-to-software integration and testing
• Develop and modify processes and methods
• Set up and modifying continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks
• Liaison with certification airworthiness authorities regarding audit findings
