This company is a venture-backed company with multiple years of runway and are early in building our core platform.

This company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale our financial platform. This is a founding engineering role with significant ownership and influence over system architecture, development practices, and product direction. In this role, you will work across the stack—from building intuitive user interfaces to designing backend services and AI-driven automation systems. Your work will directly impact customers, partners, and the long-term scalability of the platform.

* Build high-quality user interfaces using Type Script, React, GraphQL, and Relay
* Design, expand, and maintain backend services using Elixir/Phoenix, Go, Python, and Node.js
* Develop and refine AI-powered agent systems written in Python
* Support and improve existing products while designing and building new platform capabilities
* Work closely with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements and incorporate feedback
* Help define technical strategy, architecture, and best practices across the stack

* Extensive experience building full-stack web applications (senior-level; ~10+ years ideal)
* Strong understanding of modern web fundamentals (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS, browser behavior)
* Solid relational database fundamentals and experience working with SQL
* Demonstrated proficiency in at least two programming languages in production environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfort working in collaborative environments where engineers help define product and technical direction
* Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Ability to quickly learn new languages, frameworks, and best practices
* Experience with query optimization and relational database performance
* Experience in technical leadership roles (team lead or management)
* Experience deploying and operating systems on Google Cloud and/or AWS
* Production experience with Elixir, Type Script, JavaScript, Go, Python, Ruby
* Experience building AI agents or working with LLMs for automation
