Qlikview To Qlik Sense Conversion Developer

Remote but Spain and Mexico preferred

Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Preferred Working Hours Time zone: NY but if based in Spain, 12pm-8pm works.

Experience Level: 5-7 years of experience

Languages:

English and Spanish, fully fluent

Project, Role and Task Descriptions:

• Analyze existing Qlik View applications, data models, and scripts for migration readiness
• Convert Qlik View dashboards, reports, and ETL scripts to Qlik Sense
• Redesign UI/UX components leveraging Qlik Sense best practices
• Rebuild and optimize data models using Qlik Sense architecture
• Validate data accuracy and ensure business logic consistency post-migration
• Optimize application performance, reload schedules, and security rules
• Implement section access and governance standards
• Conduct testing (unit, SIT, UAT) and resolve defects
• Provide documentation including technical design, data lineage, and migration approach
• Support deployment and post-production stabilization
• Migrate legacy Qlik View NPrinting reports (older/outdated versions) to the current Qlik Sense-compatible NPrinting platform
• Rebuild and validate Excel, pixel-perfect, csv and PDF etc reports in the new NPrinting environment
• Redesign report templates to align with updated branding and enterprise standards
• Validate report filters, connections, security rules, and distribution tasks
• Configure and manage NPrinting publishing tasks, schedules, and recipient security
• Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and regulatory reporting controls
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and compatibility issues during migration

Candidate Must-Have Skills, Requirements and Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Strong experience in migrating Qlik View apps to Qlik Sense and converting legacy Qlik View NPrinting reports to Qlik Sense–compatible NPrinting
• Proficiency in Qlik scripting and data modeling (QVDs, incremental loads, joins, etc.)
• Experience with Qlik Sense security rules and section access
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.)
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Qlik Management Console (QMC)
• Experience with version control and deployment best practices
