As a Health Data Engineer, you will build and maintain robust data pipelines specifically designed for healthcare environments. You will ensure the seamless flow of clinical, claims, and genomic data while maintaining the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for clinical, claims, and genomic datasets.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry-standard de-identification requirements.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to transform raw healthcare data into analysis-ready formats.
- Integrate diverse data sources, such as EHR and pharmacy claims, into centralized health data warehouses.
- Implement data quality checks and lineage tracking to maintain the integrity of sensitive health information.
- Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to define data standards and support clinical insights.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, specifically within the healthcare industry.
- Proven expertise in building data pipelines for clinical, claims, and genomic data.
- Proficiency in working with health standards such as FHIR and EHR data.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA compliance and data de-identification requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
