As a Software Engineer specializing in Big Commerce, you will design and develop high-performance e-commerce storefronts and custom integrations. You will play a key role in enhancing the online shopping experience by leveraging Big Commerce's platform capabilities to build scalable and secure commerce solutions.
What You’ll Do- Develop and maintain responsive e-commerce storefronts using the Big Commerce platform and Stencil framework.
- Design and implement custom integrations and applications by leveraging Big Commerce APIs.
- Optimize platform performance and ensure seamless data synchronization between commerce systems and third-party services.
- Customize themes and front-end components to deliver high-quality, brand-consistent user experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical e-commerce solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to checkout flows, product catalogs, and API connectivity.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on E-commerce platforms.
- Proven expertise in developing storefronts and integrations on the Big Commerce platform.
- Proficiency in customizing themes using Stencil and building applications with commerce APIs.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies and e-commerce best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
