As a Developer II (Salesforce), you will directly support that mission by providing customization, development enhancements, and support for the platform, including Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Apex classes and triggers.

In this role, you will:- Create customized Salesforce applications that directly enhance service delivery, adhering to OIT’s "Cloud First" and "Secure Colorado" strategies.
- Facilitate design and customer experience workshops, translating complex user needs into multi-phased roadmaps that drive efficiency.
- Build and validate code releases, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and the public during User Acceptance Testing.
- Utilize "Low Code" and "Clicks over Code" approaches to solve immediate challenges while planning for future scalability.
- Own the implementation of platform changes, ensuring every update adheres to the high standards of our Change Management protocols.
A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
This is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows:
Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on programming experience in applications development, including 2 years developing applications in Salesforce.
- Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with the ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements made.
- Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
